Private Cloud HPC for Businesses - an NCC Italy Success Story
As part of the EuroCC "Highlights from the NCCs" webinar series, NCC Italy's success story will be showcased on 7 September 2026. This webinar, promoted by CASTIEL 3, showcases experiences, services and best practices developed by European National Competence Centers for High-Performance Computing (HPC) during the third phase of the EuroCC project.
The webinar, entitled "Private Cloud HPC for Businesses: an NCC Italy success story", will focus on the experience gained by EuroCC Italy in developing an HPC Private Cloud service for businesses. The event will provide a practical overview of a model for accessing HPC resources designed to meet the needs of companies that want to use HPC without necessarily investing in the development and management of their own infrastructure.
The adoption of HPC technologies can generate significant benefits across a wide range of industrial applications, from numerical simulation and large-scale data analysis to the development of artificial intelligence solutions. For many companies, however, access to these technologies may be limited by technical complexity, infrastructure costs and the need for in-house specialist expertise. The HPC Private Cloud solution developed by CINECA within EuroCC Italy was created to help overcome these barriers by providing a flexible, secure environment that can be configured according to specific business requirements
