AI in Water and Energy

Online SAIFA Cloud 6G SLAM

The Serbian Artificial Intelligence Factory Antenna invites researchers, engineers, industry professionals, and AI enthusiasts to the second webinar in the SAIFA Talks series, titled AI in Water and Energy, taking place on 19 November 2026, from 15:00 to 16:00 CET, online via Zoom.

The webinar will feature Prof. Dr. Boban Stojanović, from the Department of Mathematics and Informatics at the Faculty of Science, University of Kragujevac, and founder of Vodena R&D.

Artificial intelligence is opening new opportunities to improve the efficiency, reliability, and sustainability of water and energy systems. Through practical examples, this webinar will explore how AI can help address real-world engineering challenges, from identifying hidden infrastructure problems and reducing water losses to optimizing hydropower generation and forecasting renewable energy production.

Special attention will be given to AI copilots that combine engineering expertise, data, and computational models to provide clear explanations and actionable recommendations, supporting smarter and more informed operational decisions.

Participants will gain insights into how AI technologies are already delivering tangible benefits in the water and energy sectors and how they can support more efficient resource management and infrastructure operations.

The SAIFA Talks webinar series brings together experts from academia and industry to explore emerging AI technologies, share practical experiences, and highlight opportunities for applying artificial intelligence across different sectors.
