A Europe-wide initiative dedicated to strengthening skills in High-Performance Computing and emerging technologies, EVITA, officially launched two public calls as part of its cascade funding scheme.
The first public call is for modular training materials. EVITA is looking for training providers, research centers, universities, and HPC experts to develop modular training courses for the EVITA Training Platform. The call is open for training providers, research centers, universities, and HPC experts established in EU Member States or EuroHPC-associated countries. This call is open from 16 June to 7 September 2026.
The second EVITA public call is aimed at independent HPC experts. EVITA is building a pool of qualified external reviewers to assess proposals submitted under the Call for Modular Training Materials. This call will enable a fair, transparent, and high-quality evaluation process. The call is open from 16 June to 16 July 2026.
As a European initiative, EVITA brings together eight leading European institutions to build a cohesive, high-quality learning ecosystem for Europe's digital future. EVITA is funded by the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking and coordinated by the Barcelona Supercomputing Center.
